We are proud to present this impressive Rolex Sea-Dweller watch for sale in mint condition, fully checked and authenticated in our accredited workshop. 

The Sea-Dweller was originally developed in 1967 to compliment the already popular Submariner collection, the Sea-Dweller was developed originally for saturation divers working for SeaLab who were spending a lot longer underwater than your casual Submariner wearer. Because of those extreme conditions and depths, the divers noticed that the crystal would pop out of the case during decompression due to the helium particles in the case. So, Rolex developed the Helium release valve under their patent and thus the Sea-Dweller was born.

This version the reference 16600 was in production from 1989-2009 making it the longest production model of the Sea-Dweller ever produced, which is a testament to its brilliant design and wearability. It comes set in the classic 40mm stainless steel Oyster case with uni-rotational bezel with divers scale black bezel insert. The black dial features applied Superluminova hour markers and hands as well as the classic date aperture at 3 o’clock, with the dial protected by a flat sapphire crystal glass (no-cyclops). The watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic chronometer movement and is water resistant up to 122atm (1220m/4000ft) thanks to the triple-lock crown, extra robust Oyster case and Helium escape valve at 9 o’clock. It comes fitted on a brushed stainless steel Oyster link bracelet with a folding safety catch clasp.

Originally sold in December 2003 and in mint condition for its age, coming supplied with its inner and outer boxes, translation booklet, calendar card, dive time-table, swing tag, seal, leather document holder and perforated international warranty certificate.
