The Rolex Submariner, first introduced in 1953, is a legendary timepiece with a rich history deeply intertwined with the world of diving. Originally designed as a professional diver's watch, and soon becoming the first watch to achieve a water resistance of 30atm (300m/1000ft), the Submariner quickly gained iconic status for its exceptional durability, precision, and distinctive aesthetic. This opulent version of the Submariner, reference 116618LB was produced from 2010 and as of September 2020 has now been discontinued. Presented in a brushed and polished 18ct yellow gold 40mm Oyster case fitted with a blue ceramic uni-directional bezel with contrasting gilt dive graduations. It's blue sunburst dial features Chromalight luminous hands and hour markers edged in yellow gold for superior legibility, as well as the classic date aperture at 3 o'clock. The 30atm (300m/1000ft) water resistance is ensured by an 18ct yellow gold Triplock crown and screwdown caseback. Powering the watch is the automatic calibre 3135 chronometer movement and completed by a matching solid 18ct yellow gold Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock clasp and Glidelock extension.

Originally purchased in June 2019 and in mint condition, the watch comes supplied with the original inner and outer Rolex boxes, seal, swing tag, instruction manual, guarantee booklet, original receipt and the international warranty card.

This Submariner is under its Rolex warranty until June 2024, however it is also sold with our 12-month warranty.
