First launched in 2003, this was Rolex’s first ever anniversary watch and the first time in its history that the iconic Submariner had a new coloured bezel (green). To celebrate 50 years of the Submariner they focused on evolution, rather than revolution with this model. But over the 7 years that this watch was produced for there are a few subtle details which have made it one of the most collectable models that Rolex has ever produced. The ‘Kermit’ as it is known has 3 elements of variety which affect price the most and they are the bezel, the dial and the case.

This version can be identified as a Mk I, which features a plain inner bezel (rehaut ring). It also features the iconic green flat '4' bezel insert with version of the dial with ‘Swiss Made’ fitting neatly at 6 o’clock with shortened 28/29/30/31/32 minute markers. The watch is fitted with the Triple lock screw-down crown for water resistance up to 300M as per usual and comes on the brushed steel 3 link Oyster bracelet with folding Oysterlock clasp.

Originally purchased in October 2003 and in a stickered unworn condition, this Submariner comes with its original inner & outer box, swing tag, seal, leather card holder, calendar card, both booklets, translation booklet and international perforated warranty paperwork.
