The Rolex Submariner can easily be described as one of Rolex's most famous designs and is considered one of the most popular diving watches ever created. The first watch to be water-resistant to 300m (1000ft) which has helped the timepiece to become one of the most successful dive watches in history. A perfect blend of functionality and style, the submariner makes for a truly great watch. It wasn’t until 1984, over three decades after the launch of the Submariner that we saw the first two-tone steel and gold version of the Submariner and it has been part of the Submariner Date collection ever since.

This version the reference 16613 was produced from 1989 until 2009 and is set in a solid 40mm Oystersteel case with an immaculate yellow gold uni-rotational bezel, featuring a blue insert with gold numerals and divers scale minute markers to 15. It has a matching blue dial fitted with Superluminova luminous hour markers and hands, edged in yellow gold for maximum visibility and date feature at 3 o’clock with a cyclops lens finish the dial details. Water resistant up to 300M thanks to the Triplelock screw-down crown and comes fitted on the iconic Rolesor steel and gold combination Oyster link bracelet with folding safety lock clasp. It is powered by the automatic calibre 3135 chronometer movement which is protected by a closed caseback.

Originally purchased in June 2008 and in mint condition with service stickers, this Submariner comes with its original inner box, service booklet, leather warranty holder and original international warranty card. This Submariner is sold with a 12-month warranty from SWC.

This watch had a full service at Rolex in October 2018.
