This example of the Submariner Date, reference 16610, is built around the iconic 40mm stainless steel Oyster case, paired with a unidirectional dive bezel and black aluminium insert. The glossy black dial features Super-LumiNova hour markers and hands, each edged in white gold to prevent tarnishing and ensure long-lasting visibility. The date window at 3 o’clock sits beneath the signature Cyclops lens, magnified through a flat sapphire crystal.

Powered by the robust Rolex calibre 3135, this movement is celebrated for its accuracy, reliability, and exceptional longevity. Water resistance to 300m/1000ft is achieved through the Triplock screw-down crown and sealed caseback, reinforcing its status as a true professional diver’s instrument. The watch is completed with a stainless steel Oyster bracelet featuring a folding safety clasp.

Originally purchased in February 1999, this Submariner remains in fine condition for its age, displaying light imperfections on the bezel. It is supplied with its inner and outer Rolex boxes, punched international warranty paper, Submariner booklet and translation booklet.
