Rolex Submariner Date, 16613

We are proud to present this stylish Rolex Submariner Date watch for sale in mint condition for its age, fully checked and authenticated by our in-house workshop.

The Rolex Submariner can easily be described as one of Rolex's most famous designs and is considered one of the most popular diving watches ever created. The first watch to be water-resistant to 30atm (300m/1000ft) which has helped the timepiece to become one of the most successful dive watches in history. A perfect blend of functionality and style, the submariner makes for a truly great watch. It wasn’t until 1984, over three decades after the launch of the Submariner that we saw the first two-tone steel and gold version of the Submariner and it has been part of the Submariner Date collection ever since.

This version of the Submariner, reference 16613 was produced from 1989 until 2009 and is set in a solid 40mm Oystersteel case with an immaculate yellow gold uni-rotational bezel, featuring a blue insert with gilt numerals and divers scale minute markers to 15. It has a matching blue dial fitted with Superluminova hour markers and hands edged in yellow gold, as well as a date feature at 3 o’clock. These details are protected by a sapphire crystal glass and powered by the automatic calibre 3135 chronometer movement. Lastly, its 30atm (300m/1000ft) water resistance is ensured by a Triplock screw-down crown, with the watch completed by the iconic Rolesor (Stainless steel / 18ct Yellow gold) Oyster link bracelet with folding safety lock clasp. 

Originally sold in September 2007 and is in mint condition for its age, this Submariner comes with a Rolex service pouch and outer box, seal, Oyster booklet, Submariner booklet, green leather warranty card holder, translation booklet, calendar card, original international warranty papers and Rolex service card dated to December 2019.
