We are proud to present this iconic Rolex Submariner Non-Date “2-Line” 14060M, offered in mint condition for its age and fully checked in our workshop.
Since its introduction in 1953, the Rolex Submariner has stood as the benchmark for the modern dive watch. Designed originally as a tool for professional divers, it became the first wristwatch to guarantee water resistance to 300 metres (1000 feet). Over the decades, the Submariner has evolved into one of the most recognisable and influential sports watches ever created, admired for its rugged reliability, precision engineering, and timeless, functional aesthetics.
The reference 14060M, introduced in 1999, represents the final generation of the classic two-line Submariner. It carries forward the purest form of the model’s DNA: no date, no cyclops, just an uncluttered, perfectly symmetrical diver’s dial. Housed in a 40mm stainless steel Oyster case, the watch features a flat sapphire crystal, black aluminium bezel insert, and the patented Triplock screw-down crown, ensuring water resistance to 300m (1000ft).
This example features the highly desirable “2-Line” dial, with only Submariner and 1000ft = 300m printed, a clean, balanced aesthetic that collectors prize. Its Super-LumiNova hour markers are edged in white gold to prevent premature patina, while the bold Mercedes hands offer excellent underwater legibility.
Inside beats the Rolex calibre 3130, a robust COSC-level movement known for its reliability, shock resistance, and long-term stability. The watch is fitted to the classic stainless steel Oyster bracelet with diver’s extension clasp.
Originally purchased in April 2003, this example comes as a superb full set, including its inner & outer Rolex boxes, seal, swing tag, perforated warranty paper, leather card holder, calendar card, and accompanying booklets.
A beautifully preserved example of one of Rolex’s most important transitional references, the 14060M remains the purest modern interpretation of the Submariner - purposeful, versatile, and instantly iconic.
