Rolex Submariner Non-Date '2-Line', 14060m

For any watch to have to follow on from the 5513 it was always going to be tough. But upon the release of the 14060 in 1990 Submariner enthusiasts were treated to a truly modern version of their beloved classic. While the date feature with a cyclops lens has always polarized fans of the model, the non-date offers a pure, symmetrical divers watch experience that is clear and legible whatever conditions the watch is faced with.

In 1999 the 14060 was upgraded to the 14060M, which featured the newer calibre 3130 automatic movement. It still kept to the classic 40mm steel Oyster case fitted with a flat sapphire crystal glass with the now iconic patented Triple-lock crown for water resistance up to 300M, the dial remained black but the Tritium luminous hour markers were replaced with Superluminova (green) and were edged in white gold, to delay the onset of patina and keep them luminous for longer as well as keeping the classic Mercedes hands. The dial features only two lines of text, “Submariner” and “1000ft=300m” that keeps the dial uncluttered and is a nice nod to the Submariners of old. It comes fitted on a matching 904L steel Oyster bracelet with divers extension clasp.

An all original Submariner from April 2007 and in mint condition for its age. This Submariner comes with its original inner and outer boxes, leather sleeve, both booklets, calendar card, swing tag, seal and punched international warranty certificate. This Submariner is sold with a 12-month warranty from SWC. 

No longer produced and would be a great piece for any Rolex collection.
