The Rolex Submariner, first introduced in 1953, is a legendary timepiece with a rich history deeply intertwined with the world of diving. Originally designed as a professional diver's watch, and soon becoming the first watch to achieve a water resistance of 30atm (300m/1000ft), the Submariner quickly gained iconic status for its exceptional durability, precision, and distinctive aesthetic. Over the years, it has evolved while maintaining its core attributes, becoming a symbol of both underwater exploration and timeless elegance. With its robust construction and technological innovations, the Rolex Submariner continues to be a sought-after classic, embodying a legacy of horological excellence and adventure. 

This iteration of the Submariner, reference 114060 is presented in a 40mm Oyster case fitted with a matching stainless steel Oyster link bracelet with folding safety catch clasp. This glossy black 'maxi' dial features applied Chromalight hour markers and matching hands for superior legibility. These details are protected by a flat sapphire crystal glass and powered by the automatic calibre 3130 chronometer movement. Lastly, the 30atm (300m/1000ft) water resistance is ensured by a Triplock screwdown crown, and the watch is completed by a black Cerachrom bezel with contrasting silver dive graduations.

Originally purchased in May 2014 and in mint condition, coming supplied with its original inner and outer Rolex boxes, guarantee manual, instruction manual, leather card holder and international warranty card.
