Rolex Vintage Datejust 36, 16013

This stylish vintage Rolex Datejust 36 has been fully checked in our in-house accredited workshop.

Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size may have changed in the last 75 years the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and reliable functionality. The brands first automatic watch to feature the date window at 3 o’clock and combined with the waterproof Oyster case made it a watch for all occasions.

This model reference 16013 was originally launched in 1977 and is now discontinued. It is set in a polished 36mm stainless steel Oyster case with a yellow gold fluted bezel. The dial is gorgeous black and features applied baton hour markers, printed solid gilt minute chapter ring and the classic date feature at 3 o’clock. The dial is protected by an acrylic plexi-glass with a cyclops lens for the date. The watch is fitted with a screw-down crown and powered by the Rolex calibre 3035 automatic self-winding movement, which has a higher beat rate than previous models and has the ‘quickset’ date feature. Presented on the iconic stainless steel & yellow gold Jubilee bracelet with a folding clasp.

Originally produced in 1978 and in fine condition for its age, this Datejust comes with our box and watch roll, service booklet and Rolex service card (2012). This Datejust comes sold with our 12-month warranty.
