Rolex Vintage Datejust 36, 1603

We proudly presents this stylish vintage Rolex Datejust 36 watch for sale in mint condition for its age, fully checked and authenticated in our accredited workshop. 

Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size may have changed in the last 75 years the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and reliable functionality. The brands first automatic watch to feature the date window at 3 o’clock and combined with the waterproof Oyster case made it a watch for all occasions.

This vintage Datejust, reference 1603, comes set in a polished 36mm stainless steel Oyster case fitted with the classic engine turned bezel. It features a gorgeous silver stepped dial featuring a sunburst finish, applied baton hour markers, matching hands and the classic date feature at 3 o’clock. The dial is protected by an acrylic plexi-glass with cyclops lens for the date and fitted with a screw-down crown to ensure a water resistance of 10atm (100m/330ft). The watch is driven by the automatic calibre 1570 chronometer movement and protected by a screwdown crown. Lastly, the watch is presented on a stainless steel Jubilee bracelet with a folding Rolex clasp.

Originally purchased in January 1980 and in mint condition for its age, this Datejust comes with its original inner and outer boxes, swing tag, translation manual, Oyster booklet, service documents (1992) plastic document holder and perforated international warranty certificate.
