Since its inception in 1954 the Rolex GMT-Master has been the master of the skies and has adorned the wrists of pilots, astronauts and aviation enthusiasts ever since. Originally designed in collaboration with Pan Am Airways, the Rolex GMT-Master was initially created for Pan AM and issued by them to their pilots and crews on long-haul flights. The key feature of the watch was that it allowed the wearer to simultaneously reference two different time zones with its unique 24 hour bi-rotational bezel.

This iteration of the GMT-Master, reference 1675, was produced between 1959 - 1980 and comes set in a 40mm stainless steel Oyster case with the early reference 'eagle beak' crown guards. The 24-hour bi-directional bezel features the iconic blue/red 'Pepsi' bezel insert, which contrasts well with the matte black service dial which we believe was changed by Rolex in the late 1980's. Showcasing painted tritium indexes, matching hands, red GMT hand and the classic date aperture at 3 o'clock. These details are protected by a domed plexi-glass with the watch fitted with a screwdown crown to ensure the 10atm (100m/330ft) water resistance. Powering this iconic GMT is the automatic calibre 1565 chronometer movement, with the watch completed by a brushed/polished stainless steel iconic bracelet fitted with matching folding clasp. 

Originally produced in 1963 and in fine condition considering its age with signs of wear throughout, supplied with an original inner box, our authenticity card and a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
