Rolex Vintage Oyster Perpetual Date, 15000

We are proud to present this stylish Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date for sale, fully checked and authenticated in our accredited workshop. 

The Oyster Perpetual Date was first launched in the late 1950s and was one of the first watches to display the date in a window at 3 o’clock on the dial, fulfilling Rolex founder, Hans Wilsdorf’s dreams of producing timepieces that were not only beautiful to look at but were also highly useful and functional. Housed in the legendary Rolex Oyster case, the Date is 34mm in diameter and is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). They were available in a variety of case materials and the model was produced all the way up to 1989.

This model reference 15000 comes set in a stainless steel 34mm Oyster case with pin hole lugs, Twinlock screw-down crown and smooth polished bezel. The champagne dial features applied 18ct yellow gold baton hour markers with matching ‘stick’ style hands and classic date feature at 3 o’clock. The watch is fitted with a plexi crystal glass and is powered by the workhorse automatic calibre 3035 chronometer movement. Finally the watch is completed by its original matching stainless steel Oyster link bracelet with a folding Oyster clasp.

Originally produced circa 1981 and in fine condition for its age, this Rolex comes with our SWC authenticity card, an SWC watch roll and is sold with our 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
