Launched in 1992, the Yacht-Master combines functionality with a distinctive aesthetic, making it a favourite among sailing enthusiasts and those with a taste for refined style. Crafted from high-quality materials such as Rolex's proprietary Oystersteel, 18-carat gold, or platinum, the Yacht-Master exudes durability and sophistication. Its signature bidirectional bezel, serves both practical and aesthetic purposes, allowing users to calculate elapsed time while adding a distinctive touch to the watch's overall design. This iteration of the Yacht-Master, reference 116622, was produced from 2012-2019 and is set in a polished 40mm Oystersteel case with a bi-rotational bezel made out of Rolesium (950 Platinum, exclusive to the Yacht-Master collection) with raised polished numerals that stand out clearly against a matte sand-blasted background. The blue sunburst 'Maxi' dial features oversized Chromalight hour indexes and matching hands, as well as contrasting Yacht-Master text and running seconds hand. The dial is finished off with the classic date feature at 3 o’clock and safeguarded by a sapphire crystal glass with cyclops lens for the date. The Triplock screw-down crown ensures the 10atm (100m/330ft) water resistance, with the watch powered by the automatic calibre 3135 chronometer movement. Lastly, the watch comes fitted on a brushed/polished Oystersteel bracelet and secured by an Oysterlock safety clasp.

Originally purchased in December 2018 and in mint condition, this Yacht-Master comes with its original inner and outer boxes, swing tag, seal, instruction booklet, leather card holder, guarantee manual and guarantee booklet.
