The Aquaracer name was first coined in 2004, when a new variant of the 2000 series was branded as the “2000 Aquaracer”. The success of those watches helped convince TAG Heuer to rename the 2000 collection to “Aquaracer”, a name that continues today. The Aquaracer comes in a huge variety of models made in all materials from steel to ceramic and either mechanical or quartz watches.

This version the reference WAY111Z is set in a brushed 40.5mm stainless steel round case with a matching steel engraved uni-rotational bezel. The dial is clean and black and features silver/luminous hour markers and hands for maximum visibility, a grande date feature at 6 o’clock and twin sub-dials; one for the seconds and one for the alarm function. The alarm function can be easily adjusted and set via the screw-down crown and pusher on the side of the case at 4 o’clock. The glass is a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment and gives the watch a 300M water resistance. Powered by a reliable 4120.B quartz mechanism and fitted on a matching brushed steel bracelet with a folding clasp.

Originally purchased in March 2017 and in mint condition (slight blemish on the bezel), the watch comes with its original inner and outer boxes, swing ticket, instruction manual and international warranty card.
