The name 'Aquaracer' was first coined in 2004, when a new variant of the 2000 series was branded as the “2000 Aquaracer”. The success of those watches helped convince TAG Heuer to rename the 2000 collection to “Aquaracer”, a name that continues today. The Aquaracer comes in a huge variety of models made in all materials from steel to ceramic and either mechanical or quartz watches.

This version of the Aquaracer, the reference WBP231J is set in a 36mm stainless steel case with a stunning black ceramic dive bezel. The dial is a contrasting pink colour with wave pattern motif and features applied diamond hour indexes with superluminova 3/9/12 hour markers and matching hands for maximum visibility. This is completed with a date feature at 3 o’clock and protected by a sapphire crystal glass with magnifier for the date. The case is fitted with a screw down crown and closed caseback to allow for a water resistance of 30atm (300m/660ft). Finally the watch is powered by the automatic calibre 5 movement and comes supplied on a matching brushed/polished stainless steel bracelet with a folding micro adjustment divers clasp.

Originally sold in May 2023 and in unworn condition with some clasp stickers intact. Supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet, retail barcodes, precious stones certificate and international warranty card.

This Aquaracer benefits from the coverage of its Tag Heuer warranty until May 2025.
