The Tag Heuer Carrera is in many ways the classic Tag Heuer watch. It all started with the Heuer Carrera introduced in 1963 by Jack Heuer and was discontinued by Heuer in the early 1980s. Initially ignored by TAG, they decided to reintroduce the Carrera in 1996 as part of the re-edition series and it has been a staple ever since.

This version the CAR2111 was released in 2011 and this is the updated version of the original. It is set in a 41mm stainless steel round case with a thin, smooth polished bezel. The dial has a clean matte silver finish and features a Tachymetre scale on the inner bezel ring, applied slim silver baton hour markers and hands and subtly recessed chronograph sub-dials at 12/9/6 with the bottom one containing the date feature. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass and is powered by the Tag Heuer automatic calibre 1887, which is also visible through an exhibition caseback. The watch is fitted on a stylish brown alligator leather Tag strap with a steel deployment clasp.

Originally purchased in August 2014 and in mint condition (thanks to its recent service 05/2021), this Carrera comes with its original inner & outer boxes, instruction booklet, original sales invoice, previous service card/paperwork and original international warranty card. This Carrera comes with a 24-month recent service warranty until May 2023.
