When it comes to TAG Heuer ambassadors, few—if any—shine as brightly as Formula 1’s legendary triple World Champion, Ayrton Senna. A true icon of the 1990s, Senna was closely associated with TAG Heuer, notably wearing the S/el and 6000 series during his time with the McLaren team. His connection to the brand spanned from 1994 to 2004, and was reignited in 2015, continuing to this day. Over the years, numerous special edition watches have paid tribute to his extraordinary talent and enduring legacy in the world of Formula 1.

This particular special edition model, reference CBG2013, was released in 2018 and is housed in a robust 43mm stainless steel case. It features a fixed black ceramic tachymeter bezel adorned with the iconic red Senna logo and lettering. The skeletonised grey dial showcases white split-second markers along the outer edge, with luminous hour markers at five-minute intervals from 05 to 60. A contrasting white date window is positioned at 5 o’clock, while red chronograph hands accent the sub-dials, enhancing legibility and sportiness. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal, and the watch is powered by TAG Heuer’s in-house Heuer 02 automatic chronograph movement, visible through the exhibition caseback—which also bears the red Senna logo. Completing the look is the signature “double S-link” stainless steel bracelet, secured with a folding clasp.

Originally purchased in October 2023 and in mint condition, supplied with its original Senna special edition box, instruction booklet, Senna Edition booklet and international warranty card.
