Created to honour the enduring legacy of Ayrton Senna, this special edition marks 25 years since the racing legend’s passing. TAG Heuer’s long-standing connection with Formula 1 finds powerful expression in this tribute model, combining motorsport heritage with contemporary chronograph performance. Now discontinued, this reference has become increasingly sought-after among collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Housed in a commanding 44mm fine-brushed and polished stainless steel case, the watch features a fixed black ceramic tachymeter bezel engraved with Senna’s name in white at the one o’clock position. The steel screw-down caseback is engraved with Senna’s iconic helmet, reinforcing the commemorative character of the piece.

The grey sunray-brushed dial is detailed with applied hour markers, luminous hands and a date display, alongside triple chronograph sub-dials for 1/4 second timing, 30-minute and 12-hour counters. These details are protected by a flat sapphire crystal. Water resistance to 200 metres is ensured by the screw-down crown and robust case construction.

Powering the watch is the Calibre 16 automatic movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering an impressive 56-hour power reserve. The watch is fitted with the distinctive S-shaped stainless steel bracelet, a design originally developed with Senna himself, and secured by a folding clasp with push-buttons.
