The Monaco was originally introduced in 1969 in honour of the Monaco Grand Prix. A ground-breaking watch when it was launched, as it was the first square cased automatic chronograph to be produced. Made famous thanks to the movie "Le Mans" in which Steve McQueen carries a Heuer Monaco 1133B Calibre 11 on his wrist.

The Gulf range of TAG Heuer Monacos began in 2005 and continues through to this day. This version is the 3^rd model reference CAW2113, released in 2009 and is set in a 39mm stainless steel case in the iconic square-shape, with a raised sapphire crystal glass fitted to the watch. The dial is a sumptuous sunburst grey finish and features the iconic Gulf Racing light blue and orange stripe on the dial with a  matching orange split-second hand, twin contrasting silver rounded-square sub-dials for the running second hand and timing up to 30 minutes. It also has a date feature at 6 o’clock, above which is the famous Gulf logo and silver hands with luminous filling finish off the details of this lovely timepiece. It comes fitted on a black alligator print leather strap with orange stitching a steel Tag deployment buckle.

Originally purchased in December 2009 and in mint condition, this Monaco comes with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet and international warranty card. It has also been previously serviced by Tag Heuer in April 2019 and comes with that service warranty card. (Original worn grey strap included) This watch is a part of a Limited Edition of 2500 pieces.
