The Monaco was originally introduced in 1969 in honour of the Monaco Grand Prix. A ground-breaking watch when it was launched, as it was the first square cased automatic chronograph to be produced. Made famous thanks to the movie "Le Mans" in which Steve McQueen carries a Heuer Monaco 1133B Calibre 11 on his wrist.

Re-released in 1998 originally and then again subsequently in 2003 with the reference CW2113. This particular variation the CAW2111 succeeded that line in circa 2010 and has been in production ever since.

Set in a 39mm stainless steel case in the iconic square-shape, with a raised sapphire crystal glass fitted to the watch. The dial is a sumptuous sunburst blue finish and features a striking red split-second hand, twin contrasting silver rounded-square sub-dials for the running second hand and timing up to 30 minutes. It also has a date feature at 6 o’clock and silver hands with luminous filling finish off the details of this lovely timepiece. It comes fitted on a black Tag Heuer alligator leather strap with a steel Tag deployment buckle.

Originally purchased in February 2018 and in mint condition, this Monaco comes with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet, swing tag and international warranty card.
