The Monaco was originally introduced in 1969 in honour of the Monaco Grand Prix. A ground-breaking watch when it was launched, as it was the first square cased automatic chronograph to be produced. Made famous thanks to the 1970's movie "Le Mans" in which Steve McQueen carries a Heuer Monaco 1133B Calibre 11 on his wrist.

This ref. WAW131A comes set in a polished 37mm stainless steel case in the iconic square-shape. The dial is a rich black and features a date display window at 3 o’clock, sub-dial at 6 o’clock and faceted rhodium plated hour markers and hands. Powered by a Quartz movement and water resistant up to 100 metres, this watch comes fitted on a black Tag Heuer alligator leather strap and is completed with a stainless steel Tag Heuer deployment buckle.

Originally purchased in February 2020 and in mint condition for its age, this Monaco comes with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet and international warranty card. This Monaco is sold with a 12-month warranty from SWC.
