We are proud to present this stylish Tag ‘Heuer’ Monza Calibre 36 Limited Edition watch for sale.
The Heuer Monza was originally launched in 1976 as a special edition to celebrate Niki Lauda’s 1975 World Championship win for Ferrari. Ferrari being from Italy led to the name Monza, which was where the Italian grand prix was held. The Monza originally used the same case design as the Carrera, but with a “blacked out” PVD case and dial.
This version, the reference CR5112 was launched in 2011 as a Limited Edition of 1,911 pieces and was inspired by a 1933 single button chronograph made by Heuer. The case is a modern 38mm and is set in the iconic ‘cushion-shaped’ stainless steel case, which is polished on the sides and brushed on the front. The dial is a crisp white colour with vintage-inspired painted full Arabic numerals, twin sub-dials, date feature between 4-5 o’clock and luminous cathedral hands. The dial is protected by a flat sapphire crystal glass and the watch is powered by the Tag Heuer calibre 36 automatic chronograph movement, which is based on an El Primero movement and is visible through an exhibition caseback. The watch comes fitted on a brown ‘Heuer’ leather strap with a stainless steel folding deployment clasp.
Originally purchased in March 2012 and in fine condition, this Monza comes with its original inner & outer boxes, swing tag, seal, chronometer card, instruction booklet and international warranty card. This Monza is sold with a 12-month warranty from SWC.
