Since its debut in 2012, the Black Bay collection has become one of Tudor’s defining pillars, winning the Revival Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève and reintroducing the brand’s mid-20th-century diving heritage to a new generation. Drawing heavily from the iconic Tudor Submariner models once relied upon by professional and military divers, including the French Navy, the Black Bay line blends vintage character with modern engineering to create timepieces that are both charismatic and technically robust.

This Black Bay Chronograph iteration is housed in a 41mm stainless steel case, paired with a matte black fixed bezel featuring a contrasting silver tachymetric “units per hour” scale. The striking matte white ‘panda’ dial is complemented by two deep black sub-dials – the running seconds at 9 o’clock and the 45-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock, giving the watch its distinctive, highly sought-after personality. Applied luminous hour markers and matching snowflake hands deliver excellent legibility in all conditions. The entire dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal, maintaining the classic Black Bay profile.

Powering the watch is the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5813, a COSC-certified automatic chronograph movement derived from the Breitling B01 architecture and upgraded by Tudor with its own regulation system and silicon balance spring. It provides a long power reserve and exceptional accuracy, reliability, and durability. Water resistance of 200m (660ft) is ensured by the screw-down chronograph pushers and the rose-embossed screw-down crown. The watch is fitted with a stainless steel riveted bracelet featuring a folding safety-clasp, completing the tool-watch aesthetic with comfort and historical charm.

Originally purchased in March 2025, this example remains in as new condition and is supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, swing tag, warranty booklet, instruction booklet and its original international warranty card.
