The Tudor Black Bay was introduced in 2012 as a modern yet heritage-inspired dive watch, drawing design cues from Tudor’s rich history of tool watches. Rooted in the brand’s 1950s and 1960s Submariner models, the Black Bay blends vintage aesthetics with contemporary watchmaking technology. With its signature snowflake hands (borrowed from Tudor’s late-1960s military-issue dive watches) and robust construction, the Black Bay quickly became a cornerstone of Tudor’s resurgence. Over the years, the collection has expanded to include various sizes, materials, and complications, solidifying its status as a versatile and beloved timepiece among watch enthusiasts.

This iteration of the Black Bay GMT, the reference 79830RB comes set in a 41mm stainless steel case fitted with a gorgeous blue/red bi-directional 'Pepsi' GMT bezel. The black maxi dial features luminous dot hour markers and matching ‘snowflake’ hand set, as well as a red GMT hand and a date aperture at 3 o'clock. These details are protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass and powered by the in-house calibre MT5652 automatic movement. Lastly, it comes fitted on a classic black and red Nato strap with shield pin buckle. 

Originally purchased in February 2022 and in mint condition, supplied as a full set with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet, guarantee booklet, swing tag, leather card holder and international warranty card.

This Tudor is covered by its manufacturer warranty until February 2027.
