Since its launch in 2012, the Black Bay collection has become the cornerstone of Tudor’s modern success, combining vintage-inspired design with robust contemporary engineering. Drawing on Tudor’s rich history of professional tool watches, the Black Bay line is defined by its bold proportions, domed dials, signature snowflake hands, and exceptional everyday capability.

This Black Bay GMT S&G brings an added sense of warmth and luxury to the collection through its handsome blend of stainless steel and yellow gold. The watch is housed in a 41mm steel case with polished and satin finishes, paired with a 48-notch bidirectional rotating bezel featuring a matt brown and black anodised aluminium 24-hour insert. The bezel’s steel core is capped in yellow gold, complementing the screw-down winding crown, which is engraved with the Tudor rose and set with a black anodised aluminium crown tube.

The black domed dial is clean, legible, and unmistakably Black Bay, featuring luminous hour markers, the iconic snowflake handset, a date aperture at 3 o’clock, and an additional GMT hand for tracking a second time zone. These details are protected by a domed sapphire crystal.

Powering the watch is the in-house Tudor calibre MT5652, a COSC-certified automatic movement with built-in GMT architecture, bidirectional winding, and an impressive 70-hour power reserve. Water resistance is rated to 200 metres / 660 feet, ensuring the watch retains the practical, go-anywhere character for which the Black Bay is known.

The watch is fitted with the matching steel and yellow gold bracelet, featuring solid yellow gold centre links and secured by a folding clasp with safety catch. It is also supplied with an additional black leather strap with folding clasp, offering a more understated and versatile alternative.

Originally purchased in May 2022, this example is supplied in mint condition with its inner and outer boxes, warranty card, booklets, swing tag, and the additional black leather strap.
