We proudly present this vintage Tudor Prince Oysterdate Submariner for sale in mint condition. 

Introduced in 1954 by the Swiss watchmaking company Tudor, a subsidiary of Rolex, the Tudor Submariner quickly earned a reputation for its robust design, precision, and reliability. Originally created to meet the growing demand for professional diving watches, the Submariner played a significant role in the evolution of underwater timekeeping technology. As a sister company of Rolex, Tudor utilises the knowledge and experience acquired with the Rolex brand whilst still holding a great reputation as a standalone watchmaker. Each Tudor watch has the quality of its older sibling but with its own style that sets it apart from the competition. 

This iteration of the Tudor Submariner, reference 79090 comes set in a 40mm Oyster case fitted with a black bi-directional bezel with contrasting silver dive graduations. The matte black maxi dial features printed wedge and dot hour indexes, Mercedes hand set and the classic date feature at 3 o'clock. Its 20atm (200m/660ft) water resistance is ensured by a Rolex branded Triplock crown and solid Rolex branded caseback. Powering this Submariner is a modified Calibre 2824-2 automatic movement, with the watch completed by a stainless steel Oyster bracelet and safety catch clasp. 

Originally purchased in December 1992 and in mint condition for its age, the watch comes supplied with its original purchase receipt, inner and outer boxes, Tudor Anchor, translation booklet, instruction manual, guarantee certificate and full service paperwork from 1998.
