Originally created by Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf, Tudor owes much of its initial success to its connection to Rolex. Tudor watches were originally intended as a more affordable alternative, offering the same quality and craftsmanship as their sister brand. However since its initial inception, Tudor has now become a great brand in its own right and no longer needs the affiliation with Rolex.

First launched in 1995, the Tudor Oysterdate chronograph (later changed to 'Tiger' Prince Date) was the first Tudor to utilise the Valjoux 7750-1 and is packed full of vibrant details which are unique to Tudor, aswell as the watches produced 1997 and onward commemorating Tudor's famed ambassador Tiger Woods. Although Tiger's stint as a Tudor ambassador only lasted from 1997 - 2003, these incredible 'Tiger' chronographs as well as their older Oysterdate counterparts live on and are becoming harder and harder to come across. 

Coming set in a 40mm stainless steel case, the watch boasts a screw-down crown as well as screw-down chronograph pushers, drilled lugs, tachymeter bezel and sapphire crystal glass. The 3 register reverse 'panda' chronograph dial is clean black with contrasting silver concentric sub dials, baton indexes, date aperture at 3 o'clock, lume dot indices and lumed hands. The watch is supplied on a its original Tudor Oyster bracelet with folding Oyster clasp.

The watch was originally sold in February 2004 and is in fine condition for its age, supplied with it's original inner and outer boxes (complete with factory reference + dial stickers), Tudor booklet, retail swing tag, Tudor service paperwork (May 2021), Tudor service card, document holder and international warranty paperwork.
