Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver, 263-90

We are proud to present this Ulysse Nardin Max Marine Diver for sale in fine condition. 

The House of Ulysse Nardin was founded in Le Locle in 1846 by Ulysse Nardin at the age of 23, and fast became known for their incredibly accurate marine chronometers. So much so that they were honoured with the highest distinctions throughout the world, with them totaling 4300 1st prizes and 18 Gold medals at world fairs and international exhibitions. At one point equipping over 50 navies on all 5 continents with their marine chronometers. Today, satellites have replaced the marine chronometer and the sextant as navigation instruments, howoever Ulysse Nardin marine chronometers are still prized by enthusiasts and collectors across the world. 

The Maxi Marine Diver collection was first introduced in 2003, with this model ref. 263-90 coming set in a 45mm titanium case. The dial is black with embossed waves motif, power reserve subdial at 12 o'clock, seconds sub dial at 6 o'clock, orange bannering around the outside of the dial to match the orange hands present on the sub dials, and completed by hollow sword hands with luminous tips to match the luminous hour indicators. The unidirectional bezel is black with orange 20 minutes dive indication, with a flat sapphire crystal protecting the dial. The watch is powered by the Calibre UN-26 which is a chronometer certified movement with a 42 hour power reserve. Fitted on the classic UN four-part rubber strap with titanium shoulders and folding butterfly clasp.

Originally purchased in July 2010 and in fine condition (minor marks on bezel), supplied with it's original inner box, original purchase receipt, both booklets, chronometer certificate, leather document holder and original international warranty card. This watch is covered under our 12-month SWC warranty.
