    Frequently Asked Questions

    Do you take payment online?

Yes, just follow the payment instructions whilst checking out your order. We use Barclays Verified by Visa & MasterCard secure code for our secure online transactions. Please note, unfortunately we do not accept American Express online.

What do our condition grades mean?

Our condition classification serves only as a guide as the estimation of the condition of a watch is always subjective. Therefore, it may be possible that on rare occasions your view of a condition of a watch may be different to ours.

Unworn - Never worn, protective stickers may still be intact on the watch, however on some occasions they are removed by the original retailer.

Pre-Owned Mint/Very Good - No marks or very few signs of any use. Any marks will be very minute and hardly visible.

Pre-Owned Fine/Good - Some slight surface marks that may be visible.

Pre-Owned Good/Average - Some visible surface marks on the watch, we will state in the description where the watch is marked.

If we have graded a watch as 'Pre-Owned Mint/Very Good' it simply means that it is in an excellent condition, with only very minute blemishes or wear marks, it will also normally include the original box and paperwork.

Older watches can be 'Pre-Owned Mint/Very Good' or even 'Pre-Owned Fine/Good' if we consider them to be so for their age and again pretty much free from marks. If a watch is just below this grade then we would just state is as 'Pre-Owned Fine/Good' it might have a few visible marks on the case of the watch or some marks on the bracelet or bezel, we have internal notes on each watch so please ask.

We speak to clients regularly to ensure that our grading is fair and a true representation of the watches we sell. When a watch is new it will state unworn in the condition box.

    What does Unworn Mean?

If a watch states that is 'unworn' it means that the watch has been purchased then sold to us without being worn. The watch might still have all the protective stickers and seals still on the watch, if it had them from new. The watch will also have the manufacturers guarantee.

    What are Authenticity Cards?

If a watch is for sale and states it's supplied with an SWC Authenticity Card then this simply means that the watch has been sold to us without original papers, but we have verified the watches authenticity. Hence, we are happy to guarantee that the watch is genuine.

    Can we adjust the bracelet?

Yes! When you purchase a watch from us, please provide your wrist size so that we may adjust the bracelet accordingly. To measure your wrist please use our Watch Ruler, which can be found under our 'Info' category. When printed off, please wrap around your wrist to the required length and let us know your measurements – we'll do the rest. You'll also receive any extra links removed with your watch when it is delivered.

    Can I view before purchasing?

Of course! However, please bear in mind that we are by appointment only, so please ensure that you book an appointment prior to arrival. If you would like to arrange an appointment, please call our sales team who will be happy to arrange one for you. For clients buying online we offer a 14-day money back guarantee on pre-owned watches. Please note, we are unable to offer refunds on unworn watches or watches that have been purchased face to face within our offices.
