Auto manufacturers regularly partner with watchmakers, and they have done for many years. It
is no surprise really: they both make high-precision products with a heavy focus on style and
innovation. Here are some of the most notable partnerships of recent years, along with a look at
the incredible watches that have been produced.

The partnership between Breitling and Bentley was formed in 2003. The watches are marketed as a combination of
British and Swiss qualities, focusing on style, performance, luxury and class. There are now numerous Breitling for
Bentley watches on the market, all of which sport the Bentley insignia.

Some of the models include the Bentley B05 Unitime with its world time system, the Bentley B06 Chronograph watch
with its 30-second chronograph, and the Bentley B04 GMT with its dual timezone feature and the limited edition
Supersports Chronograph.

These two brands have been working together for a number of years. The alliance focuses on the companies’ shared
passion for innovation and perfection, and this is clear to see in the watch that was released by Blancpain in 2009:
the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo.

The watch was made to commemorate the series of races of the same name that features Lamborghini cars. This is
an understated watch with a classic look, and it is made from strong materials so that it can be worn while driving.
The strap is made from Alcantara leather, which is the same material used for the seats in Lamborghini’s cars.

IWC announced its partnership with Mercedes AMG Petronas, the Formula One team, in 2012, and the three-year
deal began the following year. The two brands share many ideals, not least the search for perfection, and this is
displayed through the Ingenieur collection.

The collection of watches was redesigned in 2013 after the original IWC Ingenieur SL arrived in 1976. The modern
collection focuses on the partnership with Mercedes, and materials like carbon fibre, titanium and ceramics are used,
which are materials also used in Formula One.

The historical ties between these two companies date back almost a century. Jaeger used to specialise in car
dashboard instruments and at one time its instruments were used in the Aston Martin LM.

In 2004, Jaeger-LeCoultre developed a number of new timepieces, and it continues to bring out more all the time. In
2006 it released the first AMVOX watch, which could be used by owners of Aston Martin cars to open and lock their
car doors, followed by the AMVOX2 released alongside Aston’s DBS. The latest watch, inspired by Aston martin’s
second generation Vanquish is the AMVOX7.

These two traditional companies formed a partnership based on their shared qualities of craftsmanship, elegance
and innovation when Hublot released the Aero Bang Morgan on the 100th anniversary of the Morgan Motor
Company. The watch was based on the limited edition AeroMax car, of which only 100 cars were made.

The Aero Bang was limited to 500 models, with the first 100 reserved for owners of the AeroMax cars. The watch is made
from tungsten and ceramic, and the chronograph can be seen beneath the dial. It also features the Morgan logo.

Parmigiani Fleurier has a Bugatti collection that comprises a number of striking watch designs. These were the first
watches to use a transverse movement, and this movement can be seen through the clear panels. The designs are
very original, and some are set with white diamonds.

The Bugatti Type 370 came out in 2006, and it was based on the design of the Bugatti Veyron supercar. This original
watch is designed to be used while driving, and it is strikingly different in that it resembles a transversal engine.
Japanese press gave it the ‘Watch of the Year Award’ when it was released, and only a small number of the watches
are made each year. The Super Sport model was released to commemorate the even more extreme edition of
Bugatti’s hypercar.
