A premium pioneer in the Swiss watch industry, the International Watch Company (IWC) was founded in 1868 by a craftsman watchmaker, Florentine Arisoto Jones in Schaffhausen. Combining his knowledge of Swiss watchmakers with modern technologies and hydropower, he was able to manufacture high quality and luxury movements.
