The off centre disc for the second time zone gives the wearer the ability to track time in a distant time zone. The fixed red triangle symbolises the usual place of residence or work, with a 24 hour displaying signalling the exact time of day, or night. The annual calendar then adds the information of the current month and day with the 12 windows of the dial being lit in deep red to signify the calendar month.
