First introduced in 1945, the Datejust revolutionized the watchmaking industry by being the first self-winding chronometer to display the date in an aperture on the dial; an innovation that has since become a standard feature in countless watches. This iteration of the Datejust II, reference 116300, was produced from 2009-2017 and is set in a polished 41mm stainless steel Oyster case with a smooth polished bezel. The blue azzuro sunburst dial features applied silver full Roman numeral hour indexes, matching hands and the classic date feature at 3 o’clock. The dial is safeguarded by a durable sapphire crystal glass, complete with the signature Cyclops lens for enhanced date visibility. Powered by the renowned automatic calibre 3136 chronometer movement and elegantly presented on the iconic stainless steel Oyster bracelet, fastened with a folding Oysterclasp complete with Easylink extension. To culminate its exceptional features, this watch is equipped with a secure screw-down crown and caseback, ensuring an impressive water resistance of 10atm (100m/330ft).

Originally purchased in August 2015 and in mint condition, coming supplied with its original inner and outer box, instruction booklet, guarantee booklet, leather card holder, swing tag, seal and international warranty card.
