Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size may have changed in the last 75 years the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and reliable functionality. The brands first automatic watch to feature the date window at 3 o’clock and combined with the waterproof Oyster case made it a watch for all occasions.

This version the reference 116233 was produced until 2018 and is set in the classic 36mm stainless steel Oyster case with a stylish yellow gold fluted bezel and matching gold screw-down crown. The dial is a sunburst champagne colour with applied luminous baton hour markers edged in gold, matching gold hands and date feature at 3 o'clock. Protected by a sapphire crystal glass with a cyclops lens, the watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic self-winding mechanism and is fitted on the modern steel and gold Jubilee bracelet with a concealed crown clasp. The bezel does have a few tiny marks on the fluting.

Originally purchased in April 2016 and under Rolex warranty until April 2021, this Datejust is in mint condition and comes with its original inner and outer boxes, swing tag, seal, instruction booklet, leather card holder and international warranty card.
